In the last Ontario election, the incumbent leader promised a new long weekend in February if he was re-elected. He was, and to everyone's surprise, he followed through with Family Day. We took the long weekend and an extra couple of days as an opportunity to get out of the Canadian winter and go to somewhere warm. We chose Cozumel, Mexico. This was our first beach-style vacation together. We had a great time.

After snorkelling (no pix, sorry), we hda a short stop on a little island. We had to be brought in 3-4 at a time on a smaller boat, as the big boat clearly couldn't come all the way in.
