Pictures from Ian and Kat's Digital Camera: Weekend in Philadelphia: 8-10 February, 2002
[Up to Our World Travels ]

Here are pictures from various trips I have taken to faraway (and not-so-faraway) places.

Air Canada having once again affirmed their monopoly status by raising their rates, Kat and I found it was cheaper for us both to fly to Philadelphia on USAir than it was for me to fly to her directly. She'd lived there for a while, so we made a weekend out of it, and saw some of her friends, and some of the sights.

Ian and Kat. There's the Liberty Bell in the background, but Independence National Historical Park is mostly closed off, lest the terrorists win.

If you actually want to get close to the Liberty Bell, you get to get searched. (It seems the terrorists have already won, after all.)

Our last morning in Philly. I needed to get a canonical cheese steak. This one was called the "Belly Buster", and it was "bigger than my head". [Warning! Kids, don't try this at home; we are trained professionals.]

On the attack! [Yes, I did actually eat it all. :-) ] That's Kat's friend Digger pointing.
