The theme for this PAIP was "geek masquerade"; guests were invited to come dressed in a fashion that would suggest (usually in a punny way) a computer-related "thing".

be a bug, because traditionally, a horseshoe hung in this manner (pointing
down) has had all the luck fallen out of it. But Julie insisted
(Redmond-esquely) that it was supposed to be that way, and so it's
actually a feature, not a bug.
