Our birdfeeder is starting to get visitors. For now, it's just been bluejays, though, which are really far too large to use it effectively.

We rear-projected animated Halloweeny images onto a sheet we hung in the front window. The kids (not mention the parents) loved it!

The view from the inside. The projector didn't have to move, since its usual position is projecting on the (much more opaque) screen in the same place. We just taped up a thin sheet instead of using the real screen.
