Next up are the floors, so the temporary wall between the reno side and the living side of the house had to shimmy over a bit to ensure they can get at the floors all the way to the edge. But they didn't want to mess up the walls on the living side, so they just tucked the bottom over and wrapped it all up in plastic (and wood to ensure the cats don't claw their way through).

The floor that used to have a built-in cabinet on it. The vent is new.

The whole back kitchen will get new floor. Note also that the door has finished being installed.

The part of the hole in the floor where the wall used to be that will end up under the peninsula. This part will be more simply patched with board going the "wrong" way across.
