There was a hole in the wall between the construction side and the living side of the house so that the thermostat (which was on the construction side) could be exposed to the air temperature we're living in. Today, our cat Finlay figured out he could jump through it to see what all the commotion was on the construction side. So we had them seal up the hole, but move the thermostat to "our" side.
