The new vent stack (upstairs bathroom view). The job's obviously not totally done (the plumbing for the sink needs replacing, and the wall needs patching and finishing), but they left everything in a usable state for us overnight, which is a relief.

The brick wall that used to separate the front and back kitchens is gone! The beams replacing that wall and the one between the kitchen and dining room are in place.
