On our way to CFP. There was a big snowstorm in the northeastern US, so the Boston airport was closed. Since I was scheduled to give an Intro to Cryptography tutorial on Tuesday morning, four of us rented a Jeep Monday and drove down. It wasn't so bad; we were the only ones on the road.

The network room at CFP. People try to get their email here, while others try to set up the 802.11 wireless network. The device taped to the window next to Lenny's head (at left) is the antenna for the 2 Mbps radio link to MIT, which was our upstream connectivity.

This is classic. Doubleclick provided cookies for the breaks at the conference. (They claimed they were just session cookies, though.)

The Zero-Knowledge party. It wasn't nearly as wild and hopping as last year's; apparently, they wouldn't let us throw such a thing again this year. We still had the best party of the conference, though, hands down.

The coolest feature of the aquarium is all the penguins. They're so cute, and fun to play with (some of them will chase a laser dot, in the same manner as cats, fish, and 5-year-old humans).
